On My April Wish List
It’s been a minute, and I feel like I am emerging from the depths of a very dark lake after the birth of my second baby, and a far from pleasant hospital stay with sepsis following that last month.
Coming out on the other side, daffodils are blossoming in my garden, and I’ve just purchased a new lawn mower so my daughter doesn’t drown in weed and overgrown grass this Spring.
Some other bits and pieces (and possibly slightly more interesting) on my mind are below, which vary from ready-to-wear, vintage finds and baby grows to beauty, home and jewellery dreams & must-haves.

I’m loving the simplicity of Pepa London for my little boy, and where I had previously overloaded my life with frills and florals, am really enjoying whites and neutrals this time around.
I used to run to get my nails done every 10 to 14 days when my life was in London, pre-children. Now the thought of gel nails gives me the ick, and a manicure is time away from the kids, the house and my laptop, and so a luxury I don’t often indulge in. What I have told myself though, is that I will make a more conscious effort to paint my nails at home this Season- just for me.
Hermes beauty is an absolute must-have for me, and now that I am actually leaving the house again, I have been stocking up on my favourite blush, lipstick and nail products ahead of Spring.
I’m still in full post-partum mode, so am adding loose, wide leg trousers, flowing skirts and simple tees to my wardrobe, along with the odd silk and lace combination, which I am loving for this more delicate season of my life.
Like the rest of the world, I’ve seen Love Story, and so am adding a few more loafers to my Spring looks, and am also stocking up on writing paper, because the love I got from friends and family after giving birth has been so wonderful, and letters are my thing.
