<image:title>Journal - What I get asked for as a Personal Shopper - For me, this is the best Chanel bag du jour, and one of the most exciting pieces to have launched in a while. The design screams 2026, and I’m getting screenshots of this style in all variations and colours at the moment.</image:title>
<image:caption>I love that it remains elegant and ‘classic’ and is very obviously Chanel, but the longer shoulder strap in leather gives it a fresh take and feel, steering away from the now very basic chain cross body or double strap that these days no longer even whispers fashion and fun, but instead a lot of other, possibly not so exquisite things…</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What I get asked for as a Personal Shopper - Ahead of next Seasons collection launch, this is a piece that I’ve been asked about a lot. A lot, a lot to be exact.</image:title>
<image:caption>Definitely already a wish-list item, and secured for top clients only, this is one that will be hard to get hold of, when next Seasons collection hits the stores. And I absolutely get why- it’s different and cool, in an almost, but not quite Cruella sort of way. One to add to the collection, and to decide on now, before it’s too late.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What I get asked for as a Personal Shopper - The Hermes 29cm Shoulder bag is back with real vengeance.</image:title>
<image:caption>In denim, in black, in beige in gold in brown - you name it. This is the bag the cool girls are wearing, are wanting, are screen-shotting and sending across to me to source for them. This is a bit of a younger and more fashion-forward take on the classic Birkin bag, and somehow one that shows off fashion knowledge and personal style more prominently than its substratal brother. It was first released back in 2004 as part of Jean Paul Gaultier’s debut collection as creative director for the brand, and features a more elongated body and longer handles. The bag was produced until 2013 and then re-released in 2024, which means it’s slowly trickling into peoples hands and through wish lists right about now.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What I get asked for as a Personal Shopper - These loafers by The Row have been everywhere- and nowhere at the same time. (As so often is the case with pieces I’m asked for)</image:title>
<image:caption>Yes, we’ve seen Love Story and are crushing on loafers, and these slouchy but chic ones by The Row seem to be a fan favourite in all colour ways that have been produced thus far. I hunted the brown down to the ends of middle earth, but a gorgeous olive shade was also recently available. Styled with jeans, with or without socks or little capri trousers and a classic tee or button down shirt, these are a true wardrobe staple, and something you can’t go wrong with, adding to your collection. No wonder my camera roll is full of screen grabs of this shoe.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What I get asked for as a Personal Shopper - Saint Laurent is definitely having a moment (more like a full Season to be honest), and I’ve been sourcing the tote in all variations, so there is no surprise that this Spring Summer version of a woven beach bag is high up there on the list of screenshots.</image:title>
<image:caption>This is honestly a really cool piece that will take you from holiday mode, beach and pool visits, quite easily through to sunny days in the city, and still look really chic and put together. I love the size because it fits everything you (I) need to carry around, and most importantly a laptop, and the shape feels cool with a paired down, simple outfit.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - On My April Wish List</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m loving the simplicity of Pepa London for my little boy, and where I had previously overloaded my life with frills and florals, am really enjoying whites and neutrals this time around. I used to run to get my nails done every 10 to 14 days when my life was in London, pre-children. Now the thought of gel nails gives me the ick, and a manicure is time away from the kids, the house and my laptop, and so a luxury I don’t often indulge in. What I have told myself though, is that I will make a more conscious effort to paint my nails at home this Season- just for me.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - On My April Wish List</image:title>
<image:caption>Hermes beauty is an absolute must-have for me, and now that I am actually leaving the house again, I have been stocking up on my favourite blush, lipstick and nail products ahead of Spring. I’m still in full post-partum mode, so am adding loose, wide leg trousers, flowing skirts and simple tees to my wardrobe, along with the odd silk and lace combination, which I am loving for this more delicate season of my life. Like the rest of the world, I’ve seen Love Story, and so am adding a few more loafers to my Spring looks, and am also stocking up on writing paper, because the love I got from friends and family after giving birth has been so wonderful, and letters are my thing.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - What I’m packing in my Hospital Bag - the second time around</image:title>
<image:caption>I packed a huge bag of stuff last time around, and used about 1/10th of what I schlepped to the hospital with me. Aside from the basics, like a toothbrush, hairbrush, face wash and moisturiser, there really isn’t that much more that needs packing. So for anyone who, like me two and a half years ago, is packing the world and taking advice from insta-moms that suggest bringing herbal medication, eye masks and foot rub to the hospital, let me break down what I’ve got in my bag- and what worked for me!</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - Firstly, thank the Lord for Frida Mom products. I used almost everything they make with and for my first baby, and didn’t think twice before purchasing the Frida Mom Postpartum Kit for c-section recovery. This includes a c-section belly band, c-section recovery must haves, socks for the hospital, disposable underwear, peri bottle, cleansing wipes, and scar patches. Of course, not all of the products I’d use in hospital, so I took out the scar patches that I will start using a few weeks postpartum and the peri bottle because not quite sure on that one (maybe just me, and correct me if I’m wrong)... I also didn’t bind my stomach the last time around, because I felt so sore and vulnerable that the thought of compression seemed sickening. I am determined to try a very light stomach bind from Frida Mom this time around though, and am excited to compare the healing and postpartum results.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - I loved drinking litres of water post birth last time, and not having to worry about getting up to use the bathroom because of the catheter I had in for the first few hours post surgery. I have my trusted STANLEY cup, which I use way too little, that is going to make an appearance in hospital, and I’ve been adding in electrolytes by a brand called Oshun, which I’ve really been loving too. I don’t want to over-do it, so I may just add the electrolytes in at home, and then any additional water top-ups will be plain. This one is the 1913 Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler 1.2L. Pink of course, because it honestly lifts my mood and makes me feel better about everything in life.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - I have an annual sleep club subscription to Baby Mori for my daughter, and we receive a new pyjama in growing sizes every month, which has not only been a life saver, but also just so handy. The cotton is organic and super soft, and it’s just one less thing to worry about. I had these sleepsuits in pink for my daughter, and ordered a few blue and white versions for my baby boy. They are called the Clever Zip Sleepsuit, because the zip opens from both sides on the front, so no fussing around with buttons and no undressing for nappy changes. I really can only recommend these to any new parent. I also packed some Peachies nappies in size newborn, two hats, one in cotton and one fleece for when we leave the hospital, and a cashmere blanket for the baby to stay nice and cosy. And that’s it.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - The first meal after birth is somehow something that a lot of mothers fantasise about. The last time I dreamed up my favourite seafood pasta dish from my absolute dream Italian restaurant in Chelsea, and my husband trecked down there and picked up the pasta, tiramisu, cheese sticks, and bread basket, which I fully devoured whilst in the recovery suite. Little did I know that carbs are the absolute worst thing to have post c-section, and honestly I’m still baffled that the nurses failed to stop me from shovelling a meal that would feed a family of four into me. So this time around I am planning to drink a large cup of bone broth, and have ordered the Freja Instant Chicken Bone Broth. The version I ordered is the Chicken | 100% Natural | Rich in Collagen, Protein & Amino Acids | Dairy & Gluten Free, 4 boxes (4 x 15g Sachets Per Box), and I’ve taken a full box in my hospital bag with me, along with some nuts and raisins to keep me going.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - I packed so many changes of clothes for myself the last time around, and ended up wearing only the hospital robe because it was July and so incredibly hot I thought I would melt during the day. So this time I opted for just one cosy pyjama set, which is button down at the front so I can breast feed without having to change. It’s freezing now, so the Olivia von Halle Vanderbilt cashmere pyjama set is what’s in my bag at the moment. I’ve also just panic washed and packed a fleecy bathrobe to throw on over, and have added in a pair of sheepskin slippers that a good friend gifted me for Christmas. A fresh tee shirt, nursing bra and socks for my car journey home, and honestly there is nothing else I need or would suggest packing- unless you’re planning on welcoming visitors to the hospital, which is something I am most certainly am not doing.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.6 - Finally, and a very last thought which isn’t even a must, is a pillow for comfort, and because I don’t trust I’ll have enough in hospital. So I’ll bring one of our White Company Canadian Goose Down Pillows from home, and make sure the pillow case is something other than white, so it doesn’t get mixed up with hospital pillows. The car seat is installed next to the toddler seat, and ready to take out for the journey home, which hopefully will only be 2-3 days after delivery. The next to me crib and moses baskets are covered with blankets to stop the cat from turning it into her sleep space between now and the baby arriving home, and we are set!</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy-Diaries 1.5 - How I’m feeling heading into my final few weeks - the second time around</image:title>
<image:caption>It’s New Years Day, and I just dropped my daughter off at the local crèche she likes to play at for an hour, so I can do my invoice reconciliation for my accounts team, who have been persistently chasing me since November to complete this incredibly mundane task. It’s not so much about the task itself - my daughter caught the super flu that is going around the UK, and spent most of December home from nursery, and I’m giving birth in 2 weeks from now, and also broke my toe right before Christmas. So things have been.. well.. harder than they probably should be.</image:caption>

<image:caption>I love this Helsa arctic knit, and how cosy it seems, and am also sort of in love with the idea that influencers are styling what used to be the 80s ski-jumpers I desperately tried to avoid having to wear from my mothers wardrobe growing up. the belt gives it a bit of shape and the Andres Otalora trousers elevate the look into something Mayfair approved. Finishing touches include the now classic Chanel 25 bag and bordeaux leather gloves by Bottega Veneta.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Two</image:title>
<image:caption>The Toteme wool jacket here creates an effortless, chic silhouette which I am really liking over chunky knitwear. I chose a green fair isle cashmere cardigan by a brand called ARCH4, and love how it is teamed with a pair of wide leg trousers, like these ones by Kallmeyer, but equally as cool would be a pair of wide leg jeans by Good American for example. Sunglasses and sneakers and some good must-have jewellery by Kamyen and Spinelli Kilcollin turn this otherwise simple look into something really luxe.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Three</image:title>
<image:caption>Kelly Rutherford has been serving looks for a while now, and as always I love her incredibly elegant take on winter whites with this mohair blend knit by Loewe and pleated twill skirt by Brunello Cucinelli. Shoes can be more edgy, or classic like these Gabriela Hearst Agathe pumps. I’ve chosen a Toteme clutch, because I’m really loving the shape at the moment, and am really enjoying the idea of a white version for winter, and of course my all time favourite Hermes lip balm- which I do not leave the house without!</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Four</image:title>
<image:caption>Incase you haven’t gathered, I’m a fan of a classic look, one that is wearable and timeless, and nothing is more timeless to me than a pair of flared jeans. These ones are SLVLAKE and more of a boot cut than a classic flare, but just flared enough to look cool over the Khaite Andee ankle boots. Coat wise, you have a variety of options here to recreate, and could go full fur or faux, but I really love the Nour Hammour shearling option, which can be brought out year after year, and always look put together but cool.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Five</image:title>
<image:caption>This is a real ‘me’ get up, with a pair of Les Tien track bottoms and a good hoodie (this one is the Les Tien x Raoul collaboration, teamed with a pair of UGGs that I use as house shoes at the moment, cashmere socks and a cool Isabel Marant Coat to round off the casual get up nicely. The gloves are Toteme and the earrings are Sydney Evan with a pair of Prada glasses, you cannot go wrong with now, or for the transitional Season into Spring.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Six</image:title>
<image:caption>Another real classic, and a slightly different take on the same vibe as above, I love the leather and shearling Toteme coat over a pair of really classic Agolde light denim jeans and thin light grey Gabriela Hearst knit. The boots of course are a wardrobe staple, the Gianvito Rossi Wylie Dover ankle boots and the Marlo 17 by The Row in dark brown teamed with an all time favourite and real wardrobe must-have; the Jennifer Fisher Natasha huggies.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Bordeaux is such a colour of the Season for me, and it feels sort of festive, but cool enough to bring out in November. The dress is by a new-ish brand called Violante Nessi that I am really loving at the moment, and find really wearable and easy to style and combine. Definitely a contender for Thanksgiving invitations, and early Christmas and end of year celebrations in London. I think keeping coat and bag tonal in this shade is so chic and really opulent in a way, and have added on some gold tone jewels to complete the look.</image:caption>

<image:caption>These pieces are mostly by another new-ish brand called Sharon Wauchob, which feels super fresh and fashionable, while still being really easy to actually throw on and realistic to wear and not feel insane in. I love the ruffle blouse and the silk cami, and will definitely be adding the high rise trousers with the ties at the ankles to my wardrobe post-partum. These pieces can’t yet be shopped via the affiliate link, which I’m testing out for everyone reading this, but totally available through chat based media, in other words, conversational commerce which is the norm for me! Hit me up if these speak to you, like they do to me.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Three</image:title>
<image:caption>So cool, so simple and a grey/chocolate combination I find incredibly elegant for this time of year. I’ve swapped out the Saint Laurent bag for one by The Row, which to me feels a little bit more understated and at the same time fashion forward. How cute is the tiny Calvin Klein shoulder bag too - do with it whatever you wish, or keep it inside the suede tote to pull out when you’re getting your lipstick out, I’m here for it. The loafers are The Row as well, and just feel luxe and so good for autumnal city strolls.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Four</image:title>
<image:caption>I had such a hard Chloé phase the first time around, and remember working at Net-a-Porter at the time, and just loving absolutely everything Boho-frilly-girlie-feminine Chloé related. From saving up to buy pieces from the brand (this was in my early 20s) to securing dupes at Zara, everything I owned was in line with the aesthetic that is having a complete comeback this Season. I loved the Paddington bag in 2005, and for sentimental reasons almost want to buy it for Spring Summer now. 15 year old me would be so obsessed with this look, all I want to do is honour her style today.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Five</image:title>
<image:caption>Now this is a bit of me. A knee high boot- you can do Hermès of course, or I’ve picked out a pair by Saint Laurent here - mini skirt and tights (which feel dressy, but in my head is always the more comfortable and easy option for Autumnal dressing), and a gorgeous chunky knit. This one is by Brunello Cucinello, and for head and that extra cosy-factor I’ve added a long sleeve top by The Row for underneath. Long coats in tonal shades complete the look for me, and I love this timeless one by Alaïa, which is one of those statement pieces that can live in a wardrobe for literally ever.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - What to Shop this Week - Look Six</image:title>
<image:caption>I’m going to be super honest. I stopped suggesting, buying or recommending Balenciaga since 2022, which I have never really gotten over. Sort of like Dolce, which is another brand that I tend to steer clear of and will purchase only if asked to do so by a client; but these new Balenciaga pieces feel fresh, cool and really elegant. Am I betraying my head-strong self by sort of loving the wrap tailored jacket and matching trousers? And gosh that silk satin wrap shirt in ivory feels like it is so flattering and timeless… Here they are, Balenciaga on my recommended looks.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Looks I’m Loving at the Moment - Look One</image:title>
<image:caption>There is something about this colour that got me completely head over heels to recreate the look - or perhaps it’s the tonal colour blocking that I love. It’s simple and it’s elegant, it’s chic, but it feels effortless and comfortable. I picked a knit by Khaite, which is timeless and slightly oversized, and teamed my version with a pair of cotton corduroy wide-leg pants by one of my favourite brands at the moment RÓHE, a slightly more fitted version than the inspiration image, but also a little bit more November-appropriate. You could do a pair of sneakers, or also a classic loafer with this look, and keep it super luxe with a 30 or 35cm Hermès Birkin bag.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Looks I’m Loving at the Moment - Look Two</image:title>
<image:caption>Cow print is arguably the new leopard print, which adds a bit of spice to an otherwise clean and classic look. We put together a full cow-print edit a few weeks ago (which if you’re interested in seeing, I’ll send over to you- just get in touch!). Here the hero of the outfit is the Gabriela Hearst Phaedra cashmere maxi skirt, which for me is more of a realistically style-able option than a trouser, and feels really current and fresh, but also still quite feminine and luxe. I’d wear this look with any classic black ballet pump, and love the idea of a leather jacket for cooler days.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Looks I’m Loving at the Moment - Look Three</image:title>
<image:caption>It doesn’t get more classic than a light blue button down shirt, and light blue and brown screams luxury and ease. There are a few really good Gabriela Hearst shirt options, and I also love Dior and Frame for day shirts, but I picked an option by The Row here, teamed with The Frankie Shop trousers, although Aje does a cool pair of leather brown pants and Le Monde Beryl leather Mary-Jane flats. This feels like a chic work look for me, but also sort of a cool girl version of a lunch or coffee date look in the city, which is so far from my personal reality at the moment that I’m day dreaming and living vicariously through it.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Looks I’m Loving at the Moment - Look Four</image:title>
<image:caption>This is such a cosy look for me, that weirdly reminds me of my mother growing up - maybe it’s the textured bucket hat, and the Italian vibes it gives? Brown shades for me are so chic and so Autumnal but also real forever pieces that will stay with you for a lifetime. I know the Malone Souliers heels in the inspiration image are custom, and therefore the perfect shade of beige suede, but I’ve attached a few readily available options on the click through link, and custom or made to order shoes can always be arranged with our personal shopping team, should this be a road you’d like to travel.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Looks I’m Loving at the Moment - Look Five</image:title>
<image:caption>This feels very me, every day. Rain approved looks that don’t seem too precious but still cosy and fashionable somehow. I don’t often wear leather, but transitional Autumnal days call for a sturdy leather top that is slightly rain resistant and cool. I’ve also been religiously collecting tiny triangle cashmere scarves this Season, which complete a look so whole heartedly. This one is by The Row, but Jacquemus do some cute neutral colours gros grain scarves that work well also. Sneakers are Dries, but any Adidas, or if you’re much cooler than me a collab of course would do!</image:caption>

<image:caption>Green is so truly my favourite shade at the moment, I painted almost every room in the house we moved into in April a different shade of green. Perhaps it’s the calming, nurturing vibe it exudes, or maybe I just love that it feels elegant and classic in a very fresh sort of way. The knit here is Ganni, and the bag is a shape by Alaïa that I’m loving at the moment. Teamed with leather gloves by either The Row or Khaite and wide leg trousers by Saint Laurent, this may just be the perfect casual but chic day to night look- shopping to coffee to lunch to dinner to cocktails. It’s here for all of it.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Chanel Spring Summer 2026</image:title>
<image:caption>The iconic fashion house has been given a full on brand rejuvenation, and Blazy is just the fourth official creative director in the history of the 115 year old brand. Reminiscent of some of Karl’s most spectacular show sets, the Grand Palais’ glass building was transformed into the universe of Chanel - fitting for the astrology loving moi. Chanel has once again entered the chatroom! Let’s start with the chopped off classic Chanel jacket idea, which was inspired by founder Gabrielle Chanel’s love of borrowing clothes from her boyfriend Arthur Capel - otherwise known as ‘Boy’. Finally a jacket that doesn’t only work if you’re either a size 0 rockstar or Kate Middleton- something that can be thrown over clothes on an actual woman’s body in real life, and looks cool, put together and timeless.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Chanel Spring Summer 2026</image:title>
<image:caption>Blazy also had a brand new take on Chanel’s classic signature two tone flat, making them ultra soft and, as he says, inspired by a chocolate praline. That alone makes me want to stock up on a pair, just to have them and archive for my daughter when she (hopefully) grows to appreciate a (then) vintage Chanel collection. The tweed suit was reimagined in frayed and fringed versions, in cosy and warm looking blanket textures, apparently inspired by another one of Chanel’s lovers- the Duke of Westminster. He used to wear his clothes, and they looked worn, which was the height of chic and ultimate inspiration for Chanel, as she once admitted.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Chanel Spring Summer 2026</image:title>
<image:caption>Every single piece, through to the final outfit, a sweeping jersey ball skirt exploding with flowers and worn with a silk T-shirt, seems wearable in the coolest of ways. Every piece tells a story, and suits a lifestyle that feels aspirations, achievable and yet oddly accessible. Even the double CC logos were hugely downsized - hello slightly quieter luxury and not the crazy logo-mania we have been seeing on everything Chanel these last few years. There was a new emphasis on the incredible craftsmanship for which the metiers d’art is known.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The second time around I am getting bigger much quicker. I remember when I was pregnant with my first, I was rushing into London a few times a week, desperately trying to see and meet all clients and suppliers, contacts and team members before I would most probably be off the radar for a few weeks (months?). I am still off the radar and it’s been over two years, so I’m glad I worked so hard to see and be seen when I did - I was also manically trying to hide the fact that I was pregnant. My cotton shirts and loose trousers barely showed a bump at 30 weeks, and a smocked dress and blazer would hide my pregnancy from the work world entirely.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy Diaries 1.3 - Peachies have been better in terms of the leakage situ, but not as cushiony soft - not a terrible thing, but maybe a little bit more like Pampers in the feel of the actual nappy.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy Diaries 1.2 - Before I got pregnant, actually before I even met my husband, I began my personal health journey, making sure that I was taking the right supplements and vitamins for my body.</image:title>
<image:caption>Since my daughter is no longer on her formula milk, I’ve become more aware of her vitamin intake, which isn’t always easy to achieve with food. This is where Baba West enters the chat.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy Diaries 1.1 - My beautiful baby girl is now one (what?!), and I have been wanting to write about my experiences as a (now no longer) new, working mother since before that photo of me by the bathtub was taken.</image:title>

<image:title>Journal - The Mummy Diaries 1.1 - The only thing I was concerned about was looking pregnant for work related events.</image:title>
<image:caption>Weirdly, I remember attending a jewellery discussion at the now sadly closed Matches Fashion Townhouse with the Shay Jewellery founders, wondering whether anyone would notice that I am pregnant. Looking at the photo I illegally snapped in the Annabels bathroom after the talk now, it seems ridiculous that I thought I could conceal this very obvious fact to my work colleagues and network, and Ladan touched my stomach and fairly openly congratulated me on being ‘with child’.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Cheap and cheerful, I’ve tried fancy cleansers, but go back to this simple option again and again. I find it cleans my face properly, isn’t too harsh on my skin and also isn’t so fancy that I don’t feel I can go in for a triple clean after a long day. I use this on my neck and décolleté as well as my face.</image:caption>

<image:title>Journal - Confessions of a Skincare Junkie - The Daily Skin Trio by Dr. David Jack is my simple next step after cleansing my face. I would say the number one rule that I definitely learned the hard way, is to stick with this trio, no matter what- even if my skin goes through a rough patch, trying new products when my skin is already feeling vulnerable is not a good idea.</image:title>
